23rd MayWoofie update from antigravitylovesongs: “This is my poor, eleven year old pug Woofie. My younger sister submitted a picture a few days ago of her but her condition has only worsened. :(
She was attacked by a pitbull a few days ago and she literally had the underside of her face ripped off. Our veterinarian has never seen anything like this and no one in our area has much more of an idea as to what to do with her besides extensive skin grafting surgery which we cannot afford. :( Her jaw bone is now completely exposed and the skin that she has left is slowly becoming infected and dying… For now, I have to irrigate her wound between 5-10 times a day in hopes of her little body creating a new layer of tissue to slowly grow new skin. She’s being a trooper and being as cooperative as possible and I’m going to use all my quasi medical skills to keep her as healthy and happy as I can.
I’m just asking that the Boodapug family sends thoughts and prayers her way for a speedy and healthy recovery. Thank you <3”
